The official quick start now uses submodule as the method for installing themes.

关于修改文档的必要性:我个人在用 Netlify,似乎 CI 平台更倾向使用 submodule 来维护 git 依赖关系。

Netlify can’t use a theme installed by the git clone method. Instead, you should install a Hugo theme for your site as a git submodule.
