Features

• Model name — clean display name (parentheticals stripped)
• Token usage — used/window in K units, sums input + output + cache creation + cache read
• Context bar — 5-cell Unicode bar with partial-fill chars (░▒▓█), green → yellow → orange → red as usage climbs
• Rate limits — 5-hour and 7-day usage bars with time-until-reset

Install

Requires jq and Python 3. Install first if missing:

# Debian/Ubuntu
sudo apt install jq python3
# macOS
brew install jq python3
# Windows (Chocolatey, in an admin shell)
choco install jq python -y

On Windows the script invokes python when python3 isn't available, and skips the Microsoft Store python3 stub if it's installed.

Then, in a bash shell (Git Bash on Windows):

• Python 3 — invoked as python3, falling back to python (handles Windows installs that only register python.exe)
