BetterCaputure regularly crashes while recording a screen

What happened?

I start recording a screen with the app. Everything seems to work just fine until I notice after 20-30 min that the app is not in the menu bar anymore. The file that has been saved is several GB large but is corrupted.
There is no crash popup I otherwise get from apps, so I am not sure how I can help to troubleshoot this.

@cityroler thanks for reporting this. I will improve the logging and crash reporting in the next release. If you know how to build and debug the project from source, you could also start BetterCapture through XCode and check the logs.

I do some long-running smoke tests before every release and couldn't reproduce the issue until now.
