• connect / disconnect / graph tools — create directed edges between memories with typed relationships (relates_to, contradicts, supersedes, derived_from, part_of)
• recall with depth — BFS graph traversal follows edges from recalled memories to surface connected knowledge (depth 1-3)
• Edges auto-cleanup on forget and merge

Fine-Grained Update

• Target by ID — update(id: N, ...) for precise targeting (no similarity guessing)
• Partial edits — append, prepend, find+replace modes alongside full content replacement
• Metadata-only updates — change topic, source, or expires_in_days without touching content
• Re-embeds only when content changes

Conflict Detection

• remember checks for near-duplicate memories before storing
• Cosine distance thresholds: < 0.12 same-project, < 0.05 cross-scope (global↔project)
• force: true bypasses conflict detection
• Skipped gracefully when embedding model unavailable

Soft Project Boosting

• recall no longer hard-filters by project — cross-project results still surface if semantically relevant
• Same-project memories get a 0.7x distance boost, global gets 0.85x
