Finally, a modern standalone Sega emulator!

People will definitely want to use jgenesis with frontends like LaunchBox. It would be great if there's a wiki page for CLI options and example commands to configure it properly with frontends.

I figured it out because I work in IT, but most casual users probably wouldn't know how to pass --help to the gui or cli executables.

I can definitely do this, but I might wait a bit because I've been looking at entirely removing the CLI/GUI split and only publishing a single executable with a --no-gui command line option or something. The historical reasons for the split don't really apply any more after some changes I made earlier this week, and I think it would be simpler for users to have a single executable with a more robust command-line interface than what the GUI currently has (e.g. in the GUI you can't currently specify the emulated system when you use -f, it's always auto-detected based on file).

But yes, once I've got that figured out I can write up some command-line usage documentation.

Perfection! I've been wondering why there was a gui and cli split.

At the moment, I went with the gui executable because it did fit my purpose. This is how the config looks like in LaunchBox:

I'm leaving example commands if others want to do the same now.

gui:

jgenesis-gui.exe --file-path "D:\ROMs\Mega 32X\After Burner Complete (Japan, USA) (En).zip"

cli:

jgenesis-cli.exe --hardware Sega32X --file-path "D:\ROMs\Mega 32X\After Burner Complete (Japan, USA) (En).zip"

Thanks again for this emulator. I've been waiting for a modern one that isn't a libretro core.
