Gemini CLI deprecation, Antigravity, and ACP support

Google is dropping Gemini CLI support for individual and free Google AI subscriptions and moving those users toward Antigravity CLI. This affects NeverWrite because the current Gemini integration depends on the existing Gemini CLI ACP path, while Antigravity does not support ACP yet. There is also no clear indication from Google that ACP support is planned for Antigravity CLI.

This was already captured in #215, which was closed with the comment that Antigravity does not currently support ACP. Recent Gemini-related reports such as #236 also show that this transition is already becoming visible for NeverWrite users.

For now, Antigravity should be treated as a terminal-only workaround inside NeverWrite, not as a first-class provider. Users can still run Antigravity CLI from NeverWrite’s terminal, unless Google exposes ACP support or another stable integration protocol. This is a must and the only way that I can expose Antigravity for subscribers inside NeverWrite.

Because of this, I will deprecate the Gemini integration and remove it entirely in upcoming releases. I am still waiting for an upstream update, but at the moment I do not see a clear path forward for supporting Google’s models natively in NeverWrite. There is not much we can do if the provider does not expose an ACP layer, or another stable protocol, that developers can use to integrate its models into third-party apps. Please consider pressuring google publicly in their cli repos and in social media.

In short, Antigravity CLI can be used from the NeverWrite terminal today, but Gemini ACP will be removed entirely in the next updates.
