Better than the official plugin

Thank you for the effort put into this plugin

I have found it to be far better than the official readwise one, and I'm highly appreciative that it exists 🙏

It would be nice to know how this differs from the official plugin?

There's many things, but we don't keep a complete list of differences. So, just a few:

• more flexibility with respect to templates (they're local),
• how you can construct file names, and
• the introduction of the "atomic" highlight: the possibility to save certain highlights as separate files from the main note.

However, one of the most fundamental differences IMHO is the tracking of files, which allows you to move and rename notes generated by the plugin while keeping the link back to the original Readwise note. You can also add / update additional frontmatter fields to any note synchronised from Readwise which will not be overwritten during sync.

Some people also report faster sync speeds.
