Changes

Updated the cover images for 27 open source related blog posts to use new dedicated cover images with specific branding for different post types.

Cover URLs used:

  • Hacktoberfest posts: https://res.cloudinary.com/jesstemporal/image/upload/v1760705452/covers/hacktoberfest.jpg
  • Preptember posts: https://res.cloudinary.com/jesstemporal/image/upload/v1760705452/covers/preptember.jpg
  • Open source posts: https://res.cloudinary.com/jesstemporal/image/upload/v1760702982/covers/opensource_p4btht.png

Posts Updated

Hacktoberfest Posts (13)

All Hacktoberfest-related posts from 2017-2025, including annual Brazilian project lists and weekly updates, now use the dedicated Hacktoberfest cover.

Preptember Posts (8)

All Preptember 2025 weekly update posts in both English and Portuguese now use the dedicated Preptember cover.

GitFichas Open Source Posts (4)

  • Posts announcing GitFichas as open source (EN/PT)
  • Contribution guides for GitFichas (EN/PT)

These use the general open source cover.

Pull Request Tips Posts (2)

"5 Tips to Make Your Pull Request Shine" in English and Portuguese - these posts are directly related to open source contributions and use the general open source cover.

Previous Cover Images Replaced

  • variados_aanizj.png (Portuguese "variados" cover)
  • miscellaneous_ld0l6r.png (English "miscellaneous" cover)

All affected posts previously used generic "miscellaneous" or "variados" covers. They now have consistent branding with dedicated cover images that better represent their content about open source contributions, Hacktoberfest participation, Preptember activities, and community involvement.

Impact

This change provides better visual consistency across open source related content and makes it easier for readers to identify posts about open source contributions, Hacktoberfest participation, Preptember activities, and community involvement through distinct cover images for each post type.

Updated! Hacktoberfest posts now use the hacktoberfest cover and preptember posts use the preptember cover. GitFichas and pull request tips posts kept the general open source cover. (9b877d4 → ef41f3d)
