CLAUDE CODE USERS: Jumbo broken with Claude Code 2.1.30 - 2.1.35

Claude Code 2.1.30 introduced a bug that causes Claude to freeze upon start up if SessionStart hooks are configured.

This is not a bug with Jumbo, but it is configured to hook into the Claude SessionStart event.

The interim fix is to remove the SessionStart hook until Anthropic resolves the issue. Then when you start Claude, just prompt it to run 'jumbo session start' and everything will work as normal. Or, you can take advantage of one of the benefits of using Jumbo and run Codex, Gemini or another harness until Claude is fixed.

Sorry for the inconvenience. User's have created A LOT of issues on the claude code repo. I'm monitoring it actively and will follow up once the issue has been resolved.

Anthropic has fixed Claude Code. Upgrade to Claude Code 3.1.26 and Jumbo will work as designed.

Remember to restore your .claude/settings.json with the jumbo hooks.
