This is part of our step building our Pointr app (final project at Makers Academy). We started out building the classes in Java before we started integrating them in Android native.
The app eventually looks like this:
... and was completed with Ionic/Angular JS and Ruby on Rails. Here are the front-end and back-end repos.
The code is test-driven using JUnit.
