Roberto 1.0.9 makes the desktop app feel live and keeps Roberto beside you when the main window is parked.

Highlights:

• Live room streaming now updates in place on desktop when a message starts from web, mobile, or another app.
• Floating Roberto reliably appears when the main window is minimized, hidden, or closed to the menu bar.
• Roberto switches between idle, working, and excited done states without looping the full sprite sheet.
• Click Roberto for quick access to the app, pinned/recent rooms, hide, and the new Smaller Roberto toggle.
• The compact choice applies instantly, keeps Roberto anchored, and is also available in Account → App.

Platforms:

• macOS 1.0.9: Apple Silicon and Intel, Developer ID signed, Apple notarized/stapled, and native-launch verified.
• Linux 1.0.9: AppImage and Debian package, native-launch verified.
• Windows remains on the existing signed 1.0.7 build; no new Windows build was requested for this release.

Roberto 1.0.8

Roberto 1.0.8 brings live cross-device desktop streaming and the free-floating Roberto companion.

macOS and Linux are updated to 1.0.8. The macOS builds are Developer ID signed, Apple-notarized, and launch-tested on Apple Silicon and Intel. The Linux AppImage and Debian package passed their native launch check.

Windows remains on the signed 1.0.7 build for this release. Its existing installers and updater manifest are retained so Windows downloads and updates continue working without offering an unsigned 1.0.8 build.
