End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") applies to SmartScript for Jira ("App"), provided by JMC Labs ("Licensor", "we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to this Agreement and any applicable Atlassian Marketplace terms.

If the Atlassian Marketplace listing for this App uses the Bonterms Standard End User Agreement, that standard agreement applies as the baseline agreement. These terms are intended to supplement the baseline terms for product-specific use of SmartScript for Jira.

1. License Grant

Subject to your Atlassian Marketplace subscription and compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App within your Jira Cloud site for internal business purposes.

2. Authorized Use

SmartScript for Jira lets Jira administrators create and run JavaScript automation scripts inside an Atlassian Forge app. You are responsible for the scripts, configuration, comments, issue updates, transitions, searches, and other Jira actions performed through your use of the App.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Use the App for unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
  • Attempt to bypass Atlassian, Jira, or Forge platform limits and permissions.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or derive source code from the App except where allowed by law.
  • Use the App to intentionally disrupt Jira, Atlassian services, or third-party systems.
  • Store passwords, Atlassian Personal Access Tokens, API keys, or other shared secrets in scripts or logs.

4. Customer Data and Scripts

You retain ownership of your Jira data and automation scripts. The App stores script definitions and execution logs in Atlassian Forge storage. We do not operate external servers for the App and do not use customer data for advertising or analytics.

5. Support

Supported versions of the App receive reasonable support through the support channel listed on the Atlassian Marketplace listing. Security issues may be reported to wjdals9058@gmail.com unless a newer security contact is published on the listing.

6. Fees

Paid subscriptions are billed through Atlassian Marketplace according to the pricing shown on the listing. Atlassian manages billing, collection, taxes, refunds, and subscription administration under its Marketplace policies.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JMC LABS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP.

9. Termination

Your right to use the App ends when your subscription expires, is cancelled, or is terminated, or if you materially breach this Agreement. Uninstalling the App removes access to the App and stored app data according to Atlassian Forge platform behavior and retention policies.

10. Governing Law

Unless the applicable Atlassian Marketplace or Bonterms agreement states otherwise, this Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
