All downloads failing on youtube music and muiltiple on Spotify.

for some reason every single download on youtube music fails. On spotify only a few get through but it often fails too. only on bandcamp and apple does it rarely fail. Idk how to fix it

You need to send logs %localappdata%/Temp/onthespot, spotify is a rate limit further info can be read here or in the discord

For me, it was a permission issue (logs telling you the issue as @justin025 said).

Make sure to start the .exe as administrator.

I have the same issue, all my Youtube Music downloads fail. Do you know where the logs are saved on Mac?
I cannot start as admin since I am on Mac.

Your issue is due to the fact that the bundled yt-dlp in the onthespot release is outdated and until I implement a proper plugin system youtube downloads will be spotty for binaries. For now, the bottom of this page, there are the latest binaries built yesterday i believe, they will have the latest yt-dlp bundled and won't have any issues. Hi Justin, unfortunately the issue turned up again, all my YT Music downloads are failing :(.

The latest release under actions should work now, for future reference whenever yt-dlp falls out of sync you need to rebuild the app manually
