New features:

• Add Change File to the Sampler's pad menu

  • Replaces the sample on a loaded pad, which until now meant clearing it first
  • The pad keeps its insert effects and its settings

• Add Fast Render to the render dialog

  • Renders the devices on all cores instead of one, about 3x faster here
  • Off by default: it is not deterministic, so two renders differ in the last bits

• Add UI translations

  • Finnish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese and Simplified Chinese
  • Language selectable from the top-right of the menu bar or with --lang
  • Takes effect immediately, no restart needed

Bug fixes:

• Stop notes waiting for the audio callback to finish

  • Sending one looked the device up under the mutex the callback holds all block
  • Delayed every note by up to a whole buffer, heard as timing jitter

• Write the rendered file in one pass unless normalizing

  • Analyzing loudness no longer costs an extra full write, read and encode
  • Renders that neither normalize nor analyze now keep their format and tags

• Stop the engine allocating on the audio thread when the block size changes

  • The device output buffers were resized exactly instead of to a high-water mark
  • Hit every block of a render, and any backend that varies its buffer size

• Fix a ducker or side-chained compressor pumping the wrong amount after a rest

  • Its gain reduction froze while the device it sits on was silent
  • The amount depended on the buffer size, so a render and live play disagreed

• Fix some notes starting their filter sweep part way up

  • Affected the Synth and the Wavetable Synth

• Center the effect rack dialog titles

• Fix a binding loop in the Delete Unused Patterns dialog

Other:

• Render event-free ticks as one block instead of one block each

  • Offline blocks are now the size of an audio buffer rather than a single tick

• Move the Mixer's Clear clips button to the dialog buttons

  • Its label no longer runs out of the button in translations

• Add tooltips to the Mixer, Device Rack and Sub Mixer row buttons

• Show pre-delay in the Endless Reverb's rack summary
