A from-scratch, native Telegram (MTProto) client. Zero dependencies: no MUI, no ixemul, no AmiSSL.

• Real profile-picture avatars in the chat list: instant blurred previews, turning crisp after you open a chat (crisp photos cached on disk; previews persist across restarts)
• @username autocomplete in groups: type @ in the composer
• The window remembers its position (and size) across restarts
• Own screen mode (opt-in): add own to the geometry line in data/telegram-gui-win.txt
• Tidy program drawer: auxiliary files live in data/, avatar photos in avatars/ — old installs migrate automatically; telegram-auth.bin stays next to the program
• Stronger first-login randomness (your keyboard and mouse feed the RNG)
• Message line breaks and bullet lists now render properly
• Fix: a right-click while the client was busy could freeze the whole system (IDCMP_MENUVERIFY removed for a dynamic RMBTRAP)
• More robust chat removal, $VER version tag in every binary (shell Version works)

Install

Copy the drawer to a writable volume, double-click TelegramGUI (or TelegramTUI). First run signs you in: phone → code → optional 2FA. Never share telegram-auth.bin.
