[Request] - Feature parity comparison with `rdkafka`

Primarily looking for a readiness level or roadmap for this crate. Would love to switch over to a pure Rust implementation for our kafka clients. The feature comparison could be against `rdkafka` or just in general the standards for a kafka client.
