Welcome to intellectual-dna! This guide will help you download and run our personal knowledge system. It combines the MCP brain server, LanceDB vectors, and over 70 pipelines to help you query and manage your AI conversation history.

To get started, you will need to download the software from our Releases page. You will find the latest version ready for download.

1. Visit the Releases Page

   Click the link below to go to our Releases page, where you will find the most recent version of intellectual-dna:

2. Choose Your Version

   Look for the latest release at the top of the page. You will see multiple assets listed, which may include different versions for various operating systems. Select the one that matches your system's requirements.

3. Download the File

   Click on the file you want to download. Your browser will start downloading it to your computer.

4. Install the Software

   After the download finishes:

   • Windows: Double-click the .exe file to run the installer. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
   • Mac: Open the .dmg file and drag the application to your Applications folder.
   • Linux: Follow the specific instructions in the README file included in the downloaded package or use your package manager to install.

5. Open intellectual-dna

   Once the installation is complete, locate the software in your programs list or Applications folder, and double-click to open it.

Before installation, ensure your system meets the following requirements:

• Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.14 or later, or a Linux distribution with up-to-date libraries.
• Processor: Minimum dual-core processor recommended.
• RAM: At least 4 GB of RAM.
• Disk Space: 500 MB of available space.

With intellectual-dna, you benefit from the following features:

1. Create a New Project

   Upon opening the application, click on "New Project" to begin. Choose a name and description for your project.

2. Import Data

   You can import data from various sources. Click on "Import", choose your file type, and follow the prompts.

3. Explore Pipelines

   Navigate to the Pipelines section to explore the 70+ available pipelines. Select one that suits your need, and follow the instructions.

4. Run Queries

   Use the search bar to run queries on your AI conversation history. Experiment with different keywords to find the best results.
