in-ear detection for AirPods Max (USB-C) Gen 1

in ear detection works while the music is playing. when i take off my APMs, it gets disconnected from my phone. but when i put them back on, it gets connected again but the music doesn't continue playing.

using OnePlus 13s on OxygenOS 16
