Whenever you receive a set of beatmap files (.json) and music files (.mp3/ogg/wav) you have to copy them into the folders created by the application.
place the .json files under:
sstrain/beatmaps
and the music files under
sstrain/soundfiles
The path to these folders varies from device to device, so when you first start up the application, be sure to check the settings screen to find out where the folder was created.
