Fallback option for metricType: Value

I am currently using a PostgreSQL KEDA trigger with a query of the Value type. With the current implementation (i.e., not having the possibility to configure a fallback option because the query is not of the AverageValue type), what will happen if my database (query source) is down?

Is there any other way to implement a fallback option for Value types?
