OneWoW Notes is a searchable notebook for players, NPCs, zones, items, collectibles, and free-form journals — with pins, hyperlinks, and account- or character-scoped storage.
Requires: OneWoW core. Enable Notes under Manage Features.
Open: /1wn · /own · /onewownotes (see Slash commands)
| Tab | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Notes | General journal — categories, tags, todos, favorites, login notes, pin-to-screen, rich text |
| Players | Guildmates and friends — realm, guild, class, personal comments; collectible sightings |
| NPCs | Vendors and important NPCs — location, stock, quests |
| Zones | Map pins and zone tips — quest hubs, rares, farming spots |
| Items | Item sources, farming routes, rewards — link items and search notes about them |
| Collectibles | Want / spotted / farming lists for mounts, pets, toys, transmog, and more |
Track collectibles you care about with an intent (Want, Spotted, Farming, or Delete List):
- Filter by category, type, storage, and collected vs uncollected
- Live ownership comes from OneWoW’s collectibles service
- Vendor capture (Notes settings): Off, Prompt, or Automatic — add uncollected vendor collectibles to your want list when you browse merchants
- Sold by shows captured vendor offers (richer with Catalog Vendors data)
- Transmog sets can show ensemble progress and member appearances
- Optional auto-delete: collected Want/Spotted/Farming entries move to the Delete List, then purge after a delay (Immediate / 1 / 7 / 14 days); empty the Delete List anytime from settings
Link collectibles into journal notes the same way you link items.
- Hyperlinks to items, spells, NPCs, quests, achievements, and collectibles; cross-links between notes
- Coordinates and waypoints you can navigate to
- Account-wide or per-character storage
- Right-click helpers (target info, timestamps, character name)
- Auto-save as you type
- Suite themes and all eleven locales via OneWoW
QoL Inspect Gear can save inspect notes into Notes when that module is enabled.
- Use account storage for guild/raid knowledge you want on every alt; character storage for private alts-only notes.
- Pin a short checklist note while doing a long questline.
- Turn on vendor collectible capture (Prompt or Automatic) when shopping for mounts/toys you still need.
- Trackers — structured checklists vs free-form Notes
- Catalog
- Slash commands
