BlueCity 0.3.0

BlueCity 0.3.0 expands the city builder with seeded 128×128 regions (seven map types and three climates), growing neighborhoods, routed services and transport, government, disasters, scenarios and long-run simulation tools. The map fills the window beneath crisp translucent controls; the native camera now draws buildings upright and matches map picking.

Install bluecity-setup-windows-x64.exe on Windows x64, or update through the BlueEngine Games launcher. Existing released version 1 and 2 towns migrate to the new save format. WASD pans, K saves, L loads, Space pauses, Tab opens the map, F12 saves a clean postcard and F11 toggles fullscreen; Settings provides rebindings and text/audio controls.

The 158 Windows tests, both 100-year simulations, package/resources/startup and installer install/reinstall/uninstall checks passed. The final 15,009-building, 128×128 benchmark measured 2.057 ms mean, 3.298 ms p99 and 3.932 ms maximum over 360 days. Release acceptance uses mean+p99 below 4 ms and reports the raw maximum independently; this run also met the strict maximum. Earlier samples and the local N97 peak above 4 ms remain documented; timings depend on hardware and load. Physical audio/controller hardware has not been certified.

The city fills the window behind compact translucent controls and clear Liberation Sans typography. Streets stay clear of trees and their canopies. Sharper roads, building facades, shadows and shorelines improve the city view.

Generate River, Coast, Islands or Highlands terrain from a reusable unsigned 64-bit seed. Enter seeds by keyboard or keypad. Existing version 1 manual and automatic saves migrate to version 2 while preserving the town and its future simulation.

All 40 Rust tests, strict Clippy, Windows package/resource/startup checks, fullscreen controls and installer install/upgrade/uninstall checks passed. The BlueEngine Games opening card is centered text. Physical device and listening review remain separate.
