envctl 1.1.1
envctl 1.1.1
envctl 1.1.1 is a small follow-up release focused on polishing the GitHub workflow and refreshing the public docs.
Fixed
- PR creation now builds the PR body from the real merge-base range instead of pulling in unrelated older commits.
- PR bodies no longer include the extra
Project / Head / Basemetadata block or theCommitsheading; they now contain just the relevant commit messages.
Improved
- Refreshed the README hero, branding, badges, and top-level navigation.
- Linked the README hero image directly to the Getting Started guide.
- Clarified the currently supported stack:
- Python backends
- JavaScript frontends
- built-in local service wiring for databases, Redis, Supabase, and n8n
- Updated user-facing docs to match the current product behavior across:
- installation
- getting started
- first-run wizard
- commands and flags
- AI prompt presets
- troubleshooting
- Standardized the supported end-user install path around
pipx. - Clarified runtime prerequisites and external tools such as
git, docker,gh,poetry, and supported frontend package managers. - Clarified that backend test tools such as
pytestusually come from the target project’s own dependencies, not from a separate globalenvctlinstall.
Licensing
- Added the MIT license to the repository and package metadata.
Notes
This release is primarily a quality-of-life update: better PR output, clearer onboarding, and more accurate user-facing documentation.
