Sorting and filtering by custom fields

Hi, I can create custom fields for projects. Under Administration -> Projects, I can view the contents of these fields in the table. It would be very helpful if I could search, sort, and filter by these fields.

Okay, thanks for the super-fast reply. But:

1. How do I search for exact matches with phrases consisting of multiple words?
2. It's not possible to sort by these fields.
3. This is more of a solution for IT professionals, not for regular users.
