How to set font of a specific component via a Skin?

Is it possible to globally set the font of a specific component via a Skin? For example we might want to globally set the font for a JTree to be a somewhat bigger than the font for all other components.

There is no such API at the moment, and no immediate plans to expand the font policy ones to be at that level of granularity.
