Android 14+ (API 34+), this unhandled exception from hidapi (commonly used by SDL2/Kivy for joystick input) will crash the application.??

android.minapi = 24
android.ndk = 28
android.ndk_api = 24
This started recently happening, has something in P4A changed? Was pinned to commit 5aa9732 for months and with no issue of this.
