Climate Change Analysis Project

Overview

This project focuses on analyzing various aspects of climate change using datasets from Kaggle. The analysis includes temperature changes, precipitation patterns, sea level rise, CO2 emissions, and sea ice extent. The datasets are downloaded and processed using the Kaggle API.

Data Sources

The following Kaggle datasets are used in this project:

1. Climate Change Earth Surface Temperature Data

   • Original Source: Berkeley Earth
   • Description: Contains global temperature data by city, country, and state.

2. GPCC Monthly Precipitation Dataset (0.5x0.5)

   • Original Source: GPCC (Global Precipitation Climatology Centre)
   • Description: Monthly precipitation data on a 0.5x0.5-degree grid.

3. Global Sea Level Rise

   • Original Source: NASA
   • Description: Data on global sea level rise over time.

4. CO2 Emissions by Country

   • Original Source: World Bank
   • Description: CO2 emissions data categorized by country.

5. Daily Sea Ice Extent Data

   • Original Source: NSIDC (National Snow and Ice Data Center)
   • Description: Daily measurements of sea ice extent.
