Epic Games

Switch between Epic Games accounts (Fortnite, Rocket League, anything launched through the Epic Games Launcher).

Windows only. accshift does not support the Epic Games Launcher on Linux or macOS.

How it works

The Epic Games Launcher stores your login on disk so it can sign you in automatically. accshift keeps a copy of that login per account and swaps the active one when you switch:

1. The current session is saved as a snapshot.
2. The launcher is closed.
3. The target snapshot is restored.
4. The launcher is reopened and signs in as that account.

Adding accounts

1. Click Add Account.
2. The launcher closes and reopens on a fresh login page.
3. Sign in normally.
4. accshift detects and saves the new account.

Labels

Accounts are identified internally by Epic account ID. Right-click an account and choose Rename to set a friendlier label.

Windows

The only supported OS. Auto-detects the launcher install; override in Settings > Epic Games if needed.

Settings

• Epic Games path: override if auto-detection fails.
• Show last login: timestamps on cards.

Troubleshooting

• Switch lands on the wrong account: confirm the launcher was killed before the restore. Try again with the launcher fully closed.
• "Launcher not found": set the path override in Settings.
