How it works

accshift reads your Steam accounts from loginusers.vdf. Switching modifies the auto-login user, kills Steam, and relaunches it.

Adding accounts

Accounts that have logged in on this PC are detected automatically. Click Add Account to launch Steam with a fresh login.

Switching

1. Kills Steam
2. Sets the selected account as auto-login
3. Relaunches Steam

Ban checking

Checks VAC and game ban status via Steam Web API. Requires a Steam Web API key (Settings > Steam). Results are cached.

Bulk edit

Right-click for bulk operations: copy launch options between accounts.

Settings

• Shutdown mode: Force kill (default) or graceful
• Run as admin: Launch Steam elevated
• Launch options: Custom Steam CLI arguments
• Steam path: Override if auto-detection fails
• API key: For ban checking and profile info
