HomeTwin 0.6.0 brings the latest home editor and room controls to HACS users.

Highlights

  • Responsive room controls: device categories, temperature and humidity summaries, scenes and area-assigned automations; a bottom sheet on mobile.
  • Library doors and windows with configurable frame and shutter colours, improved selection and sealed openings.
  • Flexible PV layouts and module sizes, portrait/landscape mounting, roof-side placement and roof gutters.
  • Improved mouse and keyboard placement, editor onboarding, wall heights and rendering recovery.
  • Improved floor-plan recognition and storey geometry, English by default with German support, entity-linked media screens and automatic object height placement.
  • Updated documentation and screenshots from the built-in demo.

Updating

Update HomeTwin through HACS and restart Home Assistant. Reload the HomeTwin browser panel afterwards to load the new frontend. Export a HomeTwin backup before updating; existing saved plans are retained.

HomeTwin remains a public beta. Robot work-area functionality is intentionally hidden until real-device testing is complete. This release does not claim robot hardware compatibility.

For manual installation, use the attached hometwin.zip. The archive contains the integration files for /config/custom_components/hometwin/.
