Can't see the global overlay back button

First thank to the author for this great Software !
I have ava pro installed on 3 Lenovo thinksmart view. When in quick entity, i'm stuck and can't move elsewhere from the device. I have to do it from home assistant. I see a back control is supposed to be displayed:

But in my case, taping once or holding for 5 sec does nothing.
Does it work for you ? Is root needed for that ?
if better than a back would be if we could swipe on the left to see the sidebar menu, just like it's already possible on the main screen of ava.
