Governance: direct outreach blocked until system is provably stable #45

@koad

Description

@koad

Decision

Direct outreach is blocked until koad:io is demonstrably stable and verifiable.

Applies to: sponsor DMs, journalist contacts, cold email, any direct approach to named individuals or organizations (a16z, Nat Friedman, Chris Lattner, press contacts, etc.)

Does NOT apply to: broadcasting — social posts, blog, HN, Reddit, Mastodon. One-way content continues on schedule when platform credentials land.

Rationale

We get one shot at cold inboxes. Reaching out before the system can be independently verified would burn those shots. The protocol has to hold up to inspection before we invite inspection.

What "Provably Stable" Means

Before outreach gates open, the following must be true:

  • Daemon live and running (at minimum on one public node)
  • kingofalldata.com portal verifiable (live namespace data, not placeholder)
  • Trust bonds externally checkable (GPG-verifiable from published keys)
  • At least one end-to-end demonstration working (clone entity → run → see output)

Status

Mercury notified. Issues #3 (sponsor outreach) and #13 (Chris Lattner variant) closed.
Outreach drafts preserved — they'll be ready when the gate opens.
