Installation on PocketBook devices
You need to obtain a recent PocketBook package from the releases page. Then unzip the archive on your computer. There will be two directories in the unzipped directory, namely applications
and system
.
Copy and merge both the applications
and system
directories into your PocketBook's USB root directory
You can associate the file extensions you want to open in KOReader directly from Pocketbook home/library.
- Run KOReader
- Open the main menu
- Go to "Gear" → Device → Associate file extensions.
Choose the formats you want. You can enable all if you wish but remember that associating either svg
or log
files will expose a lot of internal KOReader files in your home. Most people will want to avoid that.
It is possible to customize Pocketbook OS in different manners. Some of which might be useful for some KOReader users. If you're interested have a look at https://github.com/jjrrw174/PocketBook-Desktop-and-App-Customizations
Note: these changes are not supported here, so feel free to ask in the repo linked above.
