What is new?

• fuzz-wall now supports the mpvpaper and awww wallpaper daemons.
• fuzz-wall now detects whether waypaper package is installed, and uses that to take advantage of waypapers: post-commands, customized wall paper changing, and wallpaper daemon selection.

Notes:

• This is an unofficial release. Please refer to youngcoder45's fuzz-wall for an official release.
• These features have not been accepted to the official repository of fuzz-wall as of June 17, 2026.
• Features have only been tested on hyprland/Wayland/Arch Linux. However, they are expected to work on other x11 based or Wayland based WM/DE's.
• fuzz-wall does NOT make wallpaper daemons compatible. Please refer to the documentation of the wallpaper daemon for support.

Installation:

From git

1. Receive files to machine with git clone https://github.com/krambo345/fuzz-wall.git.
2. Enter directory cd fuzz-wall.
3. Build the package makepkg -si.
4. Use with fuzz-wall.

From GitHub

1. Download one of the archives below(eg. source code.zip or source code.tar.gz).
2. Go into the directory where archive is downloaded.
3. Unzip package via preferred way.
4. Build the package makepkg -si.
5. Use with fuzz-wall.
