A Serialized Family Comedy inspired by Gintama — chaotic humor with heart.

This README is the canon source of truth for KIDTAMA’s tone, characters, and world. Keep PRs focused and reference issues for bigger changes.


1️⃣ Project Overview

Title: KIDTAMA
Genre: Action‑Comedy / Slice of Life / Parody
Format: Serialized episodic story arcs
Tone: Chaotic humor with heart; meta‑humor welcome.

Setting: A surreal, slightly futuristic Earth. The town looks normal until knights, wizards selling hamburgers, goblin couriers, and talking furniture wander through.
Home Base: The Kidtama House — doubles as a dojo, secret lab, bakery… whatever the plot needs.
Cultural Tone: American suburban life × Japanese anime humor.
Physics: Flexible; reality bends for laughs or feels.

  • Grandma Armstrong — Wise, dramatic, trains kids in “the art of chores and combat.”
  • Mr. Blorp — Alien exchange student; earnest and confused by Earth customs.
  • Mayor Swiderski — Boastful and incompetent; blames the kids for everything.

  • Arcs: 3–6 episodes each, accessible but continuous.
  • Episode Template: Intro → Conflict → Resolution → Teaser.
  • Length: ~1,000–2,000 words per episode.
  • Narrative Style: Third‑person, snappy dialogue, slapstick + heartfelt beats, occasional fourth‑wall breaks.
