v2.0 Roadmap: Cross-Project Intelligence — Feedback Wanted

Hey everyone! 👋

We just refreshed the ROADMAP.md and want your input before locking v2.0 priorities.

Where We Are (v1.3.1)

• ✅ MCP server with 10 tools, memory + search
• ✅ FTS5 full-text search across conversations
• ✅ 10 themes, 29 fonts, full settings
• ✅ Docker, npm package, MIT license
• 86 stars, 9 forks, ~38 weekly npm downloads (44% star→active ratio — thanks all!)

v1.4 (Q2 2026 — In Progress)

• Token cost calculator (per-session, per-project, per-month)
• License key system for Pro features (no phone-home)
• Saved searches + advanced operators (AND / OR / NOT, project:, role:)
• More MCP tools (link memories to files, search by symbol)

v2.0 (Q3 2026 — Need Your Vote)

This is the big jump. We're planning:

1. Cross-project search — search ALL your ~/.claude/projects/ at once
2. Tree-sitter integration — parse code referenced in conversations, link memories to functions/classes/files
3. Decision archaeology — visual timeline showing how a project evolved through conversations
4. Auto-extraction — detect conventions, decisions, and patterns automatically (no manual tagging)
5. Pattern detection — "you've debugged this exact error 3 times" — surface known fixes

v3.0 (Q4 2026 — Hosted Cloud)

• Optional E2E-encrypted cloud sync (multi-device)
• Web app at claudex.cloud (browser access from anywhere)
• Team workspaces (shared memory across team)
• Pricing model (planned): Free MIT forever / Pro $7/mo / Team $5/seat/mo / Enterprise custom
