When debugging disable RUN STEP if query edited and not UPDATEd

It's so easy to forget to hit UPDATE after editing your query and then hitting RUN STEP, I wonder if disabling the RUN STEP button if the query has been edited is an idea to consider? Or displaying a message asking if to continue with RUN STEP if the query has been edited?
