  • Correct outdated wiki claims and trim history Windows lacks keyboard/mouse/brightness/power-adapter/login-manager/tpm; Windows phys-mem, phys-disk, memory and DNS are native, not PowerShell; How-It-Works mode lists match src/fields.rs; runtimes are measured, not old budgets; missing modules added; COPR and benchmark workflow text matches the current triggers. Dropped Troubleshooting sections for bugs fixed before v0.12 and the misleading AUR-registration banners. Development-Setup keeps its rules and drops the incident narratives (NOTES.md section 7 has them). Assisted-By: Claude Opus 5.5

  • Describe the overlapped cpu-usage wait (v0.19.2) Assisted-By: Claude Opus 5.5

  • Update docs for v0.19.0 matched benchmarks cpu-usage moves to --long; the fastfetch comparison is now field for field, and the older "retch is faster" tables are marked as the old, unmatched methodology. Assisted-By: Claude Opus 5.5

  • OpenGL on Windows: the GPU API group is now complete opengl gained a Windows implementation in v0.13.0 via WGL against a window created hidden and never shown, since stock Windows has no EGL and so no headless context. All three GPU API fields now report on Linux and Windows; Vulkan and OpenGL are byte-identical to fastfetch there and OpenCL is richer.

  • Vulkan and OpenCL on Windows; close a stale gap entry vulkan and opencl gained Windows implementations in v0.12.0 - the same probe code as Linux, since those APIs are identical and only the loader filename differs. opengl stays Linux-only: its headless context comes from EGL and stock Windows ships none, so a Windows version needs WGL against a hidden window. Also corrects a stale entry on the fastfetch comparison page, which still listed OpenCL/OpenGL/Vulkan under "retch is missing" even though v0.11.6 closed that gap.

  • Document Host-first field order and the GPU API fields Corrects the long-standing claim that the config 'fields' array sets display order - it is a membership test only. Documents the new vulkan/opengl/opencl fields, including that opencl distinguishes a platform exposing no usable device from a working one.

  • Document wrapped-line colour, separator and width v0.9.3 fixes three defects in what happens to a field line that wraps. - How-It-Works: new Wrapping subsection (separator kept at the break, colour re-opened on continuation lines). Corrects the Placement table, which said the text column governs wrap width — beside-logo lines now wrap to `logo column - 2`, matching below-logo lines, which already used the full terminal width. - Troubleshooting: new entry covering all three symptoms, including the note that a value read from a pre-0.9.3 build may be missing a separator at a line break — that one changed the data, not just its appearance. • Document right-margin logo placement and column-based width The logo is anchored to the terminal's right margin in side-by-side mode (v0.9.2), and layout widths are measured in terminal columns rather than characters so double-width glyphs in field values stay aligned. - How-It-Works: new Placement and Measuring width subsections under Logo rendering — the text column and logo column are separate numbers, the stacked fallback threshold, and why placement is logo-type agnostic. - Troubleshooting: new entry for a logo that floats mid-terminal or a row misaligned by wide characters, plus what a deliberate stacked fallback looks like. - Workspace-Architecture: document plan_layout/compose_side_by_side_row and fit_logo_cells, the unicode-width dependency, and the shadowed-closure bug that motivated extracting the row composition. Dropped the hardcoded retch-sysinfo version from a heading — it had gone stale at v0.1.31 (actual v0.1.56) and pinning it there only guarantees it goes stale again. • docs: restructure wiki to match etr's page structure/tone Adds Getting-Started.md, How-It-Works.md, Troubleshooting.md, and Compared-to-fastfetch-and-neofetch.md (new pages, sourced from README.md/NOTES.md — no invented facts). Restyles Home.md and Configuration-and-Theming.md to match etr's wiki structure and tone (vibe-coded disclosure, wiki-pages nav table, table-driven config reference). Cryptography.md has no retch equivalent (no crypto model) and is intentionally not mirrored. Assisted-By: Claude Sonnet 5
