Only show a SAVE button when the data is not already saved

At the bottom we sometime see two buttons, one of which is called SAVE.

However these often appear when the data is already in the saved state.

Please only show such buttons when the data is not in the saved state and does not need to be saved again.

For instance, we press the floppy disk icon which saves the file and then shows us the list of tracks. We notice there is no green dot so we press the track. Now on the track's page, we press the icon that means save GPX. The GPX is saved but at the bottom we see SAVE ...

Right, that's because "save" and "export" are different.

The save options on the track details page are always to save changes made to the track (name, description, tags). The save icon, and the "save" at the bottom are identical.

Exporting to GPX is always referenced as "export", to distinguish it from saving (and the icon hopefully expresses this).

Perhaps there are ways to clarify, although I'm not sure how (and I wonder how confusing that is in practice as it's the first time it's raised?)

So we first save the track. The track is saved. Now we export to GPX. At this point there will be no changes lost if we turn off the cellphone. So we shouldn't see a big SAVE button appear to make us worry we have not saved something.

Exporting is not related to saving the track. The track is always "saved" in the internal database of the application as soon as you start tracking. Each new waypoint is recorded in real time. For this reason, there's nothing to "worry" about as the data is stored internally in the application (short of a database corruption). There's nothing to "save", so there's nothing to loose.

The only action at this stage is "stop recording" (which is shown as a "save" icon on the tracking screen, perhaps that's what's confusing).

Exporting is just the process of taking what's in the app at a given point in time, and save it to a file (that's why it was called "export", the same way you could repeatedly "export" a Word document in a PDF file say). It can be repeated as many time as you want for a given track.

You can still modify the track that's within the app, either by adding a name, description, tag, (in which case you need to "save" your modifications), or by "resume recording" where it will add new waypoint to it. Then you can choose to re-export it if you wish to do so.

Well then if we are no longer recording, and have not changed the title, etc. then the SAVE button should be greyed-out, as it would be a no-op anyway.
