Confusing description entry box

Where shall we put the description? Apparently in that second box currently occupied by the word "osmtracker" .

Oops, it seems we screwed up. Maybe the word "osmtracker" was a tag, not the description.

As you can see only 30% of the users will guess correctly.

So there should be more user-friendly prompts.

• Title
• Description
• Tags

(Okay, apparently the description is the title or perhaps the file name is the title and it can't be changed.)

At least when the user deletes the word "osmtracker" a greyed-out word "tags" should appear in the same spot.

Hello, in the latest update, the word “tags” should appear.

And yes, the file name is the title, and you can change the name.

Well, indeed, the names of the text fields appear as text hints as greyed-out words. (as in the image @Andyporras shared). But, by default, the name is autocompleted according to the user's configuration choice, and tags are autocompleted with the osmtracker value (default) and custom button layout name (in case the user is using one). That's why when you delete the tags text, the text hint appears again.

I don't agree on deleting the default values for the name and tags. I better prefer to add a label that explicitly indicates the name of the field next to the corresponding text value.

OK, but shouldn't any placeholder text that will disappear be in a lighter color?

Is that okay with you, as shown in the image? That way, we can change the PR that solves the problem.

When you write, the color of the text becomes clearer.
