We're excited to announce a new full-text search feature that enhances how you can search and filter through your traces and observations in Langfuse.

What's New

The new full-text search functionality allows you to search not only by IDs but also by content across various components in Langfuse. This makes it easier to find specific traces or observations based on their content or metadata.

• Flexible Search Options: Toggle between searching by ID or searching through content
• Enhanced Filtering: Search across metadata or content in traces and observations
• Improved UI: New search toggle in the data table toolbar for easy switching between search modes

How to Use

1. Navigate to the Traces or Observations table
2. Use the search bar at the top of the table
3. Toggle between "ID" and "Content" search modes using the new search type selector
4. Enter your search query to filter results accordingly

Technical Details

This feature introduces a new TracingSearchType that supports searching by "id" and "content", with appropriate UI components and backend query handling to support the functionality.
