Dragged items in the free space appear to go back to original position before locking in

[As a new Toney user sorry if I don't have the right jargon!]
I'm using v 1.1 on a mac (the previously untested 10.9 OS)

I've been dragging word tokens around the bottom white area. Once I drag them they appear to slide back to their original location and only then appear where I aimed. 

It's not a major problem, just an aesthetic one.
