NASA F1/F2 on Samsung AC030KNZDCH/AA (CNH30ZDK) using M5Stack Atom Matrix ESP32 Development Kit |

NASA with As described here it's easy to detect requests using smart things app and the MIM-H04EN |

I have two outdoor units and use F1/F2. |

I'm on a 16kw Air to Water Heat Pump System, 1 Mono Outdoor unit : AE160JXYDEH/EU Let me know if I can help. |

Late to the party! |

Hi Steve! And biiiig THANK YOU for this! And the relevant part of my config (I plan on adding more custom sensors) Will send some beers later on ;) |

Hi, this for me: |
Hello, I have a NASA System and use the connection between outdoor and indoor units via the F1/F2 ports. My outdoor unit models are AJ068TXJ3KH/EA and AJ050TXJ2KH/EA, and my indoor unit models are AJ050TNAPKH/TK (1 unit) and AJ025TNAPKH/TK (3 units). I am willing to provide feedback and test if something works. Please feel free to reach out to me. Best regards! |

Hello, I'am using AR09TXEAAWKNEU indoor unit and 09 TXCAAWKX/EU outdoor unit. F1 and F2 Ports. I use the same config as @hnykda with Atom lite + RS485. It does work, at first... When I switch the breaker on, the ESP starts and the AC beeps. whithin the first minute i can then start the AC via the ESP32. I do recieve Log data and can change the modes, read the sensors, everything is fine. Then, after some time it only works intermittent. I retightend all srew terminals, repluged the plug as well as the Atom. Sometimes I can start the AC after a longer periode of time, sometimes i have push this botton multiple times: Sometimes I can't start it with the ESP at all and have to use the remote control or the stupid Smart Things app (that is the main reason i want local API control) |

I have a NASA system with 21 indoor units and two outdoor units (in one circuit) |
|
Also got my climate finally installed today and had no luck with those cheap converters on generic esp32: Consists of So should be supported.... Tried multiple of those modules, removed also the 120 Ohm resistor. I can get the Atom, but no RS485 base for it here in Germany, at least not for an acceptable price. Are there any suggestions for rs485-ttl converters to use on a generic esp32 ? PS: Funnyly enough: So any help appreciated. |

Can confirm the functionality of a NASA AR12TSFABWKNCV indoor unit and a AR12TSFACWKX outdoor unit. |

i managed to get it working, something with wiring. I need to switch terminal (so opposite). but the health dind't finish the first time but with new wiring it did. |

AR70F09C1AWNEU 2.5kW and AR70F12C1AWNEU 3.5kW 2025 units work flawleslly with M5 Atom Lite and RS485 base. Had some issues at the beginning but reflashing helped. 12V taken from pin 9 GND (white) and 10 Power (pink, not red) |

I have AJ100TXJ5KG outdoor unit and 5 indoor units - one AJ035TNNDKG and 4 AR60F09C1AWNEU. Everytghing is connected by F1 and F2 terminals. I can read data comming from indoor units as well as from outdoor unit. BUT! All packets are DataType ::Notification. Even when I send request command to any indoor unit (power, set_target_temp) it works but there is not confirmation form the unit. All packets I saw so far were DataType::Notification...any advice? Aaah - forgot to mention I'm trying to implement NASA2MQTT gateway...it partially works already. I analysed incomming packets from units, but all of them are "Notification" type. |

Successful install with a ducted system. AC036BXSCCH outdoor unit, AC036BNHDCH indoor unit, m5stack atom lite + rs-485 base, A/B/DC/GND = F1/F2/V1/V2, exactly as documented. Thank you! |

Hi I'm trying to connect my Samsung air conditioner (AR12RXWXCWKNEU) to Home Assistant using an ATOM-LITE, following this manual: https://github.com/omerfaruk-aran/esphome_samsung_hvac_bus/wiki/Hardware-Installation Try diferent baud rates 9600 and 2400 and have de same problem...
This is my .yml
What else can I do? Best regards |

Good afternoon. My AC052RNMDKG/EU is working well but would like to be able to read a bit more like compressor speed, expansion valve opening etc. Is this possible? Many thanks. |
|
just installed mine with a hw-512 with esp wroom 32 and a buck converter, willing to test some things since my system is hybrid i just have the heat pump and the HWT indoor unit ... the rest is on another bus from wavin and i aim to let them talk via homeassistant. |

I have this issue with NASA: #350. Anyone can give me any hint? It can read the AC status but could not control |
|
I am planning to buy Samsung WindFree Avant S2 units: AR70F09C1AWNEU AR70F18C1AWNEU Does anybody know whether these models use the NASA F1/F2 bus and are compatible with this ESPHome project? |
|
Which cables are you using for the project? Are they Dupont cables (Male/Male)? What size are the 2.54 mm ones? |
|
Hi, I’d appreciate an answer. Thanks and best regards, |

Confirming full NASA fuctionality on model number: AR12CXCAAWKN (which should be non-NASA according to the lookup). Everything (incl swing modes) works as a 1:1 replacement of the SmartThings integration, except turning on/off beep and display which I would love to help working on. |

✅ Works - NASA, multi-split, one ESP32 for all 4 indoor units
Reading and control work for all 4 units from that single ESP. Flashed via |

I you are have a NASA System and use the connection between outdoor and indoor units (F1/F2) then please let me know here.
My plan is to have a list of users who are willing to give feedback or test if something works.
