Hi Laravel community! I'm Willy (@willyarisky), the creator of env.pm.
I wanted to share a platform we recently built and launched called env.pm — a free developer service that allows anyone to claim instant subdomains (
*.env.pm) and manage cloud DNS records (A, AAAA, CNAME, TXT, MX) for side projects, local tunnels, staging servers, webhook receivers, and VPS infrastructure. Why we built it
When spinning up VPS instances, test environments, or self-hosted developer tools, configuring DNS records and waiting for propagation or buying throwaway domains is often overkill. We wanted a fast, zero-friction developer console that gives you clean short domains with instant DNS records.
How it's built with Laravel
files.env.pm— Lightweight, encrypted temporary file & clipboard paste sharing.whois.env.pm— Fast domain WHOIS and DNS lookup helper. The service is completely free for developers to use: https://env.pm
We'd love to hear your feedback, thoughts on the architecture, and ideas for developer integrations or API features you'd find useful!
