While I haven't looked as closely, I expect significant duplication of LAT-specific infra with https://github.com/lat-opensource/lat, so it would be good to have a roadmap for eventual unification of the two repos.
We may have to:
- bump QEMU baseline of LATX to QEMU 8.x
- merge the two repos' code
- merge the build systems
if we want to go by this approach, or maybe the common infra could be refactored out into a separate repository, and make LATX and LATA consume it by means of Git submodules.
