Marked checkbox not shown in preview window when part of a table (see screenshots)

Current behaviour

1. Create table in rich text editor; add checkboxes in table fields and mark checkboxes completed.
2. Switch to markdown editor with preview; table will be HTML formatted
3. Marked checkboxes in preview screen are shown unmarked.

Attached there are two screenshots showing the effect. Unfortenuatly I am not allowed to upload a JEX-File.

Expected behaviour

In preview the checkbox should be shown as marked
