Faulty PDF Example Renders

Hello,

For the following examples there are issues with how the pdfs are plotted. The corresponding png and txt files are correct.

Examples with faulty pdf outputs:

• annotation_demo.pdf

• The colored_contour plots (Horizontal lines are showing in the figure):

  • ripple_coolwarm.pdf

  • gaussian_default.pdf

  • etc.

• contour_filled_demo.pdf - Contours are irregular

• disconnected_lines.pdf - Line plot al over the place

• streamplot_arrows.pdf - Arrows are missing. Arrows show in png version.

• mathtext_demo.pdf - Title text is rendered in the wrong location

The following png outputs have errors:
The streamplot_demo png plots with arrows when it should just be the streamline:

Subplot demo (Based on the checklist this isn't implemented all the way but included for completeness)

Using the default example values, everything looks good to me.
