SCOPE: Restore README documentation accuracy to prevent user abandonment and trust failure
CRITICAL FIXES REQUIRED:
- Fix contour_filled API documentation with correct Fortran syntax (CRITICAL USER WORKFLOW FAILURE: README contour_filled API documentation incorrect #798)
- Repair figsize examples with 100x scaling bug correction (CRITICAL VERIFICATION: All README documented figsize examples fail with 100x scaling bug #786)
- Fix scientific plotting examples with fatal syntax errors (CRITICAL USER WORKFLOW BLOCKER: README scientific plotting examples contain fatal Fortran syntax errors #973)
- Correct variable declaration placement bug (README documentation bug: incorrect variable declaration placement #945)
- Fix compilation simplicity claims with accurate build instructions (CRITICAL USER DECEPTION: README promises false compilation simplicity #971)
- Restore animation documentation completeness (CRITICAL USER TRUST FAILURE: Animation documentation completely empty undermining advanced feature credibility #976)
SUCCESS CRITERIA:
- All README examples compile and execute correctly
- All documented APIs actually exist and function as described
- Build instructions reflect actual complexity accurately
- Animation documentation provides working examples
VERIFICATION:
