Orthographic projection in the viewer?

Hi,

Is there a way to set the viewer to orthographic projection from code? I'm looking at automating screenshots from fixed viewpoints for engineering review, and perspective distortion gets in the way.
If it's not currently possible, would it be worth exploring that option?
